Tides Trips Fun with Friends, the official non-profit that provides scholarships for journeys of fun, friendship adventure and lasting memories for adults with differing abilities, served by Tides of Change.

Tides Trips Fun with Friends insures that Tides of Change can provide opportunities to connect people through small group experiences in our communities and develop friendships through daily adventures. Built on interests and direction of our participants, activities include local farmers market, festivals, cultural events, parks, concerts, sporting events, volunteering, and expanded adventures such as camping, mountain and beach trips.

We believe traveling with our friends makes our relationships stronger, our hearts bigger, and our world smaller. Lives are forever changed. Skills are gained. Connection and community is strengthened.

In 2020, while our world was experiencing change with the COVID 19 pandemic, I was in a personal time of change and growth. After 35 years of working in larger human service agencies supporting people with differing abilities, I had a reoccurring dream to create a smaller, more intimate, human-focused entity that prioritized relationships and connects people to what they love.

Tides of Change (TOC) is the culmination of my experiences and life’s work to help create change for the better in other people’s lives. Tides Trips Fun with Friends is the non-profit I launched on my 65th birthday to insure that cost would not be a barrier for folks we serve to participate in life-affirming activities and outings.
